Yesterday at Qwest Field the Sounders FC brass revealed the new shirt and sponsor. Jones soda rumors turned out to be false, and it was XBOX360 who will be paying $20mil over 5 years to have thier logo on the front of the Sounders shirts. And as for the shirts themselves, they will be relatively simple. A solid "rave green" with "sounder blue" accents. No word on what color shorts/socks they will be wearing, and no word on an alternate shirt.
I have to hand it to the front office though. Right now they are almost 10 months from playing thier first game, they have one player, they have no coach, and landed the second highest paying shirt sponsorship in MLS with a shirt that will really stand out in the sea of red/white/blue shirts that is our domestic league.
